The Alpinestars CR-X Drystar® Shoes are engineered for riders seeking reliable weather protection combined with superior comfort and performance. The sole unit, with a 9 mm drop, promotes a smooth heel-to-toe transition, facilitating natural motion whether walking or riding. An EVA midsole delivers excellent underfoot cushioning for all-day comfort, while forefoot flex grooves are engineered into the midsole to promote flexibility in the forefoot area, reducing fatigue and increasing rider responsiveness. The full-length Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) inner sole plate provides superior ride protection and supports dynamic heel-to-toe movement, essential for both safety and comfort.
The outsole features an asymmetric stud configuration that offers optimal grip and abrasion resistance on a variety of surfaces. An oil-resistant dual rubber compound enhances grip on slippery or unclean surfaces, contributing to rider stability in challenging conditions. Additional protection comes from hidden asymmetrical TPU ankle discs that discreetly safeguard the ankle area without compromising mobility.
