Designed specifically for female riders, the Alpinestars Stella SMX-1R V2 boots offer an optimal fit and high-performance features. The main upper is crafted from advanced microfiber, providing excellent abrasion resistance, durability, and comfort for extended riding sessions. The anatomically engineered shape ensures a precise, supportive fit that adapts to a woman’s foot profile, enhancing control and confidence on the bike.
The innovative heel counter support system works in conjunction with an adjustable strap closure to improve fit, structural integrity, and support. The rear of the heel counter features a soft Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) insert that integrates seamlessly with the rear flex zone, allowing for increased ankle mobility and comfort when operating controls. The rear flex bellow includes a flex window that functions as an air intake, promoting airflow and effective ventilation to keep feet cool during rides.
A new ergonomic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) shift pad enhances durability in a critical area prone to wear. The boot’s ergonomic shaping, especially around the forefoot, provides a streamlined fit suitable for a wide range of foot profiles while maintaining comfort. The evolved closure system features an anatomically angled strap that follows the natural shape of the rider’s instep, paired with a quick-to-use Velcro® closure that offers a secure fit and excellent flex. The strap is reinforced with aramidic fiber wires for added strength without adding weight.
The sole is made from Alpinestars’ exclusive rubber compound, designed with grip patterning for improved traction, feel, and durability. It also incorporates the Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) to guard against transversal loads, enhancing safety. The instep and Achilles’ flex zones are constructed from lightweight microfiber to optimize durability and maneuverability both on and off the bike. Flex grooves are thermowelded into the sole to control flexing, while the reverse zip closure simplifies putting on and removing the boots.
Additional protective features include double density ankle protectors layered under the upper for abrasion resistance and impact absorption, a removable bi-injected TPU forefoot slider for easy replacement, and an external high-modulus TPU heel counter for shock protection. The internal toe box is reinforced for durability and performance, complemented by a removable EVA foam and Lycra® foot-bed that provides added comfort and support. Internal mesh lining offers moisture-wicking and cooling comfort, making these boots suitable for demanding riding conditions.
