The Alpinestars Tech 5 Boots combine innovative materials and advanced design to deliver superior protection, comfort, and performance for off-road enthusiasts. Crafted from abrasion-resistant microfiber with a synthetic polymer toe box, these boots offer high water-resistance and durability, making them suitable for rugged terrain and all weather conditions. The microfiber material ensures a consistent fit over time, is easy to clean, and contributes to a lighter overall weight, reducing rider fatigue during extended rides. The redesigned instep and Achilles flex zones, made from lightweight microfiber, provide enhanced comfort, control, and support, allowing for natural movement and reduced fatigue on demanding trails.

A contouring advanced polymer core structure envelops the upper boot, offering excellent structural integrity and abrasion resistance while maintaining a controlled flex for better maneuverability. The high-modulus polymer shin plate is anatomically profiled for impact and abrasion protection, with a Velcro®-adjustable panel that allows for a personalized fit. The medial-facing biomechanical pivot system connects the lower and upper parts of the boot, providing both flexibility and support for dynamic riding positions. Strategically placed polymer panels with grip sculpture improve contact with the bike and enhance abrasion resistance, ensuring longevity in tough riding conditions.

Additional protective features include a rear Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) gaiter atop the Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) calf protector for added comfort and coverage. The innovative buckle closure system utilizes polymer and fiberglass buckle arms, along with high-impact aluminum bridges, for durability and lightweight performance. The quick-release, self-aligning buckles are easily replaceable, with TPU straps designed for ergonomic front flexion to promote comfort and secure fit. The injected dual compound TPU foot shell provides impact and abrasion resistance, reinforced internally by a metal shank and toe co-injection for added safety. The sole, made from a seamless multi-density compound, offers superior grip and durability, and is fully replaceable for extended use.

Padding around the ankles and collar, along with a full interior textile lining, enhances shock absorption and comfort during long rides. The anatomically designed EVA footbed is removable and topped with textile lining for additional comfort.
