The Alpinestars Tech 5 Boots are engineered for off-road riders who demand high performance, durability, and comfort. Constructed from abrasion-resistant microfiber with synthetic polymer reinforcement on the toe box, these boots offer excellent water resistance and long-term durability. The main microfiber material provides a lightweight profile, making them easier to wear over extended periods while maintaining a secure fit that’s simple to clean and maintain. The redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones, made from lightweight microfiber, enhance flexibility and control during aggressive riding maneuvers.
The boots feature a contoured advanced polymer core structure that envelops the upper for added structural integrity and abrasion resistance, while still allowing controlled flex. An anatomically profiled high modulus polymer shin plate provides superior impact protection and abrasion resistance, with a Velcro® adjustable panel to ensure a personalized, secure fit.
The medial-facing biomechanical pivot system links the lower and upper parts of the boot, offering excellent flexibility and structural support for dynamic riding situations. Both the inward-facing upper and lower panels are crafted from formulated polymers with grip sculpture patterning to maximize contact with the bike and improve abrasion resistance. The rear of the boots features a Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) gaiter atop a Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) calf protector, providing additional comfort and protection.
The innovative buckle closure system combines durable polymer and fiberglass arms with high-impact aluminum bridges, ensuring strength, lightweight performance, and easy adjustment. The system’s memory feature and quick-release mechanism with a self-aligning design facilitate precise closure, enhancing riding security. All buckles can be replaced easily, and the TPU straps are ergonomically profiled to promote high levels of front flexion.
The dual compound foot shell, injected as a one-piece design from TPU, offers high impact and abrasion resistance with an internal metal shank reinforcement and toe co-injection for extra durability. The exclusive dual compound sole integrates seamlessly with the multi-density foot base structure, providing superior grip, durability, and a natural feel during riding. The sole is also replaceable, ensuring longevity. TPU heel patches connected with the shell and lateral/medial TPU parts deliver added protection and support. The soft poly-foam surrounding the ankles and collar absorbs shocks for added comfort, complemented by a full interior textile lining. A replaceable anatomic EVA footbed with a textile lining on top completes the design, offering personalized comfort for demanding off-road adventures.
