The ARAI Helmets Quantum-X Helmet in Diamond Black offers a precise fit designed for riders with slightly wider heads, featuring a round oval shape achieved through an interior headliner with thicker front and rear pads, complemented by thinner side pads for optimal comfort. Crafted with the peripherally belted Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, this helmet provides a durable, lightweight structure that balances performance with affordability. A key feature of the Quantum-X is the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. This adjustment results in a smoother shell surface in the temple area, enhancing impact energy dispersion and reducing the risk of injury. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental opening while allowing intuitive, seamless operation. The helmet includes the VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, with Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ included for fog resistance. The larger latch design improves de-misting capabilities and ease of shield handling.

Ventilation is optimized with QVF three-position intake ducts and QVR exhaust ducts, providing excellent airflow management. The side vent functions as an exhaust even when the top shutter is closed, ensuring continuous ventilation during rides. The helmet's aerodynamic shape is complemented by a water-repellent ES chin cover that enhances airflow, increases exhaust from the mouth area, and minimizes wind noise. FCS® cheek pads, contoured and layered with varying foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” cradle the face securely, block wind noise, and facilitate easy on-off fitting.
