Chimera Engineering S Cold Air Intake for Big Bore Throttle Body. Silicone air intake designed for the Honda Grom 125 owner who upgraded to the bigger Koso or Takegawa throttle body.

Chimera Engineering S Cold Air intake is positioned to allow a more direct, cooler and fresher air into your engine, giving you better throttle response and better performance. Increase airflow and at the same time, get a nice deep throaty intake sound while you cruise around!

Note: When installing the short ram intake, make sure the battery is unplugged. This will allow the ECU to reset the existing parameter and refresh itself to the new change. Like any aftermarket air intake system for the automotive and power sports industry, not recommended to be used in rain.

Sprint Filter Waterproof Air Filter Option: Sprint air filter overall size is a lot larger than the K&N air filter. Since the Sprint Filter is taller than the K&N air filter, depending on your intake placement, the filter may come into contact with the forks at MAX right turn. More than likely, you will never turn to full LOCK while riding, this shouldn't be an issue during riding. The silicone intake tube can also be shorted to accommodate the Sprint Filter if desired.

NOTE: The S version of the Chimera intake does not have a location for the IAT sensor. The IAT sensor could be zip tied some where on the outside by the air filter OR put into the breather fitting with a little bit of a fuel hose to fill the void for those who are running a oil catch can.
