The Motion Pro Vortex SE Throttle Assembly Part 01-2810 offers a complete redesign with an emphasis on lightweight and compact performance. Its new ultra-compact profile maximizes handlebar space for improved rider comfort and control. Crafted from die-cast aluminum with a billet aluminum cover, this throttle features a smooth painted black finish that enhances durability and style. The inclusion of a POM pulley with brass bearing ensures a smooth throttle feel and extended wear resistance, providing consistent performance over time. This assembly is compatible with Motion Pro DirtControl V2 and ODI V2 Lock-On grips using cam ‘C’ for secure attachment and seamless operation. Designed to fit 7/8 inch (22 mm) handlebars, it replaces OEM throttles on many Japanese 2-stroke motocross bikes, including models like KX125/250 from 1992-2005, RM125/250 from 1995-2005, YZ125 and YZ250 from 1996-2010, and WR250Z from 1997 with the stock throttle cables. For Honda CR125 models from 1993-2003, CR250 from 1990-2004, and CR500 from 1990-2001, it is recommended to use with Motion Pro Cable P/N 70-1713. The throttle features a fast twist rate, opening the carburetor at just 0.526 mm of cable pull per degree of rotation, allowing full throttle in approximately 70 degrees of handlebar turn. At maximum twist, it pulls 50 mm of cable, providing precise throttle control and responsive acceleration.
