Installation Overview

Read the full instructions before ordering.

1. Remove the left engine cover.
2. Use a flywheel puller to remove the flywheel.
3. Remove the OEM roller guide and spacer.
4. Remove the OEM rubber roller in the middle of the cylinder — use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt and roller. Replace with a shorter 10mm bolt (not included), using the same or a new copper washer.
5. Install the CJR chain guide in place of the OEM roller guide.
6. Reinstall covers, confirm the camshaft is at TDC, and rotate the engine by hand 3 full turns before starting.
